Halo has always been a very important part of Xbox consoles since 2001 when the first game in the series (Halo: Combat Evolved) was launched. 343 Industries will pick up the flag from where former developer Bungie left off and will make the latest Halo title in the series. Very little is known about the game, only a conceptual trailer has been shown back at E3 2013. Still, the game is one of the most awaited titles for Xbox One and it’s sure a good reason to buy a brand new console.
Despite the fact that a new developer is in charge of Halo 5 (assumed title), there is a strong fanbase around the world of Halo that will ensure the game’s succes. To be honest, we can’t wait to discover more details about the new game, as it will sure be spectacular.
After passing any future development of Halo series to 343 Industries, Bungie’s latest baby is none other than Destiny. Despite the fact that this is a whole new game, and a whole new IP, Destiny certainly looks like a younger brother of Halo. The game will be an action role-playing, first-person shooter set in a “mythic science fiction” open-world that will follow the story of guardians, the protectors of the last city of the humble planet Earth.
Guardians can be personalized, players being able to choose from one of the three available races Humans, Awoken, and Exo and from either of the three classes including Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans. The game promises to be a more than awesome experience in both single-player and multi-player and it will be the first Bungie’s first new game after a decade of Halo.
3. Watch Dogs
The brand new IP, Watch Dogs, currently under development over at Ubisoft promises to offer a new experience in any way or form to future buyers. Despite the fact that the game has missed it’s initial launch date (it was supposed to release alongside next-gen consoles), Watch Dogs is still situated deep into gamer’s hearts as it is certainly a game worth waiting for.
The game will put players in the role of Irish vigilante Aiden Pearce in a vast and wide open-world city. His whole adventure will be based on hacking several kind of devices while the game is built on the concept of information warfare. So in a world in which information is the most valuable thing, hacking everything seems a pretty risky and nice job to do.
By controlling every piece of crucial information, you could simply rule the world.
