Sony stop online support for Resistance trilogy and Gran Turismo V in 2014

Resistance trilogy and GT V have online support pulled in 2014.

Bad news for gamers who still enjoy playing the Resistance games and Gran Turismo V online: Sony has recently revealed that in 2014, none of the four games will have online support.

This news comes from their “Support for online games” page, where they reveal that, beginning on March 28, 2014, gamers will be unable to play Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and Resistance 3 online. They’ve also updated the page to reveal that online support for Gran Turismo V will end on May 20, 2014.

If you have online trophies that you need to grab in these games, you better hurry up and do so or you may miss out on your platinum trophies for the games. If you just don’t care about trophies, you may still want to try out the online modes while you still can, just to see how they are.

What are your thoughts on Sony’s decision to pull online support from these four games?
