GOG.com gives away Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics for 48 hours

Get three classic Fallout games for free.

Get three classic Fallout games for free.

With Fallout 4 rumored to be in development, our friends at GOG.com have decided to give out a special deal for gamers who may not have played the classic games.

This deal is that until December 14, 2013, you will be able to pick up Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics completely free of charge (providing you can get through the servers, since the news of teh free games has them bogged down at the moment).

In the announcement, the GOG team stated, “Please note that all three classic Fallout titles are pending right holder change. Sadly, to the best of our knowledge, we’ll be forced to remove Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics from our offer. That doesn’t mean, however, that you won’t be able to download them if they are already a part of collection by then. Secure your copies today (or anytime before Saturday, December 14, at 1:59PM GMT)!”

So if you’ve been curious about the classics, now seems to be the best time to pick them up. You certainly won’t find a better price on the games.
