Halo: Spartan Assault set for Dec. 24 release on Xbox One
Microsoft has finally confirmed that Halo: Spartan Assault will be available for download on the Xbox One on Dec. 24.
The game has originally been released on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices earlier this year, which received positive reviews, as the twin-stick shooter was not only fun to play, but looked great and fit in nicely with the Halo world.
The downloadable title will be priced at $14.99 and will come in with a native resolution of 1080p and 60 fps, while also including a new co-op mode, new weapons and the “Operation Hydra” add-on.
For anyone who already bought the game for Windows Phone/8 prior to Dec. 15, you can download the Xbox One version for a discounted price of $4.99. Meanwhile, those who are still gaming on their Xbox 360s, the 360 version of the game will arrive in January with the same pricing and discount option.
