Super Time Force is heading to Xbox One
Today CAPY announced that Super Time Force will be released on Microsoft’s newest console, allowing all of their next-gen fans to play the game on their new machines. In addition, they announced that they would be self-publishing the game via the ID@Xbox program.
Some have expressed concern that the game wouldn’t be arriving on XBLA as initially planned due to this move, but if you’re one of those, you shouldn’t have any fears. The company announced that they would (if everything goes according to plan) be launching both versions of the game side-by-side.
It isn’t all good news, however. Said Nathan and Chris in the update, “To accommodate development of the Xbox One version, and to make sure we bring you the best game possible, we’re moving the release date. While we had originally intended to release this year, the opportunity to do Super Time Force on Xbox One, plus the sheer insanity of releasing during new console launches meant that moving a few months into 2014 was the best plan for our game.”
What are your thoughts on the delay?
