You can share your PlayStation 4 screenshots without spamming your Twitter and Facebook friends
PlayStation 4 gamers who want to utilize the console’s share feature without spamming their Twitter or Facebook pals may be happy to know that there is indeed a way to do so. Though the feature currently makes it difficult to do so, there’s a rather simple trick to get around it.
This trick, posted by our pals at Kotaku, involves utilizing a dummy Twitter account. Utilizing a name and password combo that’s easy to remember, and make the account private. Next you simply log into the dummy account from the PlayStation 4 (Settings, PSN, Link with other services, Twitter).
You may also wish to set the Share button to immediately take a screenshot upon being pressed. For those wondering how to adjust this setting, you simply need to hold the button down in order to enter the Share Menu. From there, you hit Options, then set the “Share button control type” to “Easy screenshots”.
With those steps done, you should be able to share easily and without bothering people on your pals list in either platform. Hopefully this workaround won’t be needed in the future.
