What the Xbox One’s guts look like

We all know what Microsoft’s outside looks like, but we haven’t yet seen the interior of the console. Well, thanks to iFixitwe now know.

The console, strangely enough, has no screws on the outside. Instead you will need to pull the grill off and then free a few clips in order to actually get inside the console.

Inside the console is a 2.5 inch SATA II drive. While some may be considering replacing this drive soon after purchasing the console, two things should be noted; 1. If  you do replace the drive, your warranty will be voided. 2. There’s no way of knowing, currently, if the console will recognize a replacement drive.

The Xbox One also, according to the iFixit team, has a  “beefy cooling system,” which hould hopefully prevent issues like the Red Ring of Death that plagued so many Xbox 360s.

Thanks, iFixit (via Kotaku)
