MOGA Ace Power released

The first Apple certified, iOS 7 complient game controller is now on the market. This controller, the MOGA Ace Power, was developed by Power A.

Some may recall that when the MOGA line of Android controlles were initially released, companies like Power A and their rivals were rustrated that their controllers couldn’t find a home on Apple devices. The company (Apple) did not want game controllers interfering with thier all-inclusive touchscreen phones and tablets.

One year after the MOGA line debuted, Apple decided to add controller support with the release of iOS 7. This opened the path for companies like Power A to start working on controllers for the systems, and today we’ve received the first one, pictured above. It can open up and wrap around your iPhone 5, 5S, 5C, or fifth generation iPod Touch, thus allowing you to play many of the games that felt like they were built with a controller in mind the “right” way.

What do you think of the new controller? If you’re a mobile gamer, will you be utilizing it?

Thanks, Kotaku.
