Many of you may already know that Ubisoft is doing thier own take on a JRPG. This take will be called Child of Light, and will be available for Sony’s PlayStation 4.
The combat system utilized by the game is inspired by a game many consider a classic, namely Grandia II. Utilizing this combat system, you can do a few things that will help turn the tide of battle in your favor. These include working with a partner in order to delay an enemy’s attack and even working together to take down tougher monsters while you’re still only level 1.
All in all, the video certainly seems to make the game appear interesting, and the combat system sounds like it would be fun to utilize. What are your thoughts on Ubisoft’s take on a JRPG? Does it sound like something you’ll be picking up?
