Diablo 3 tops 14 million copies sold, trailer leaked for expansion
Activision-Blizzard has announced that Diablo 3 has sold more than 14 million copies.
In the last year, that means around 4 million players have also picked up the game, with quite a few sales probably coming from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime said he was “pleased” with the game’s results on consoles during an investor call.
In addition, a new trailer has been leaked for the Reaper of Souls expansion. The trailer shows off the Adventure Mode, bounties and more. It also shows the Nephalem Rifts, where a guardian will appear that can give players plenty of gold and XP.
