Nintendo has today released Wii Sports Club into the Wii U’s eShop which features the five sports games found on Wii Sports – bowling, tennis, baseball, boxing and golf, all in HD and with online functionality.

The sports are  being released individually, for those who don’t care for all five options and have also been enhanced for Wii MotionPlus.  Players will also be able to associate themselves to local or regional clubs via Miiverse and they can then play against members of their own club or take on rival clubs for boosting their club ranking.  For those who download Wii Sports Club, there will be a free 24-hour trial period, after which players can purchase either a day pass for $1.99 or permanent access to each sport for $9.99 each.
