Walmart glitch allows gamers to grab $60 games for $18

Walmart glitch allows shoppers to cash in on crazy deals.

This morning, Walmart experienced a technical glitch. This glitch caused the company to mark down a ton of new video games this morning, thus allowing some shoppers to get their hands on games that would normally be priced at $60 (such as Grand Theft Auto V and Battlefield 4) for a mere $18.

The glitch supposedly allowed people to get the company to honor extremely crazy deals, including monitors for a mere $9 and $2000 televisions for only around $300, but our source at Kotaku was only able to confirm that the video games were successful, thanks to a reader that sent in photos of his own purchases.

The glitch has been fixed, and Walmart has yet to answer if they will indeed honor all of the orders that were put through last night.

What are your thoughts on this glitch? Will the company honor the orders, despite the error? Or will they refuse to do so?

Damn, wish I would’ve heard about it while it was still glitchy.
