Capcom has announced strong second quarter profits.
The company’s net income went up 20 percent, to $50.4 million, from last year. Net sales from digital games ended at $382 million.
However, the company did note slow home gaming growth, which was attributed to the upcoming console releases.
Lost Planet 3, which shipped 300,000 copies, was below the Capcom’s expectations. Meanwhile, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen and Monster Hunter 4 sold well.
Looking forward, Capcom expects Dead Rising 3, a launch title for Xbox One, to ship around 1.2 million units.
