Recently, a master weaponsmith by the name of Tony Swatton created the iconic Assassin’s Creed wristblade with every bit of attention to detail that he has shown to previous projects.

In addition, he created a pirate’s cutlass in order to commemerate the upcoming release of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Many may look at the start of the video and think, “They’re just a replicas. Nothing can be done with them,” but they would be wrong. Those who watch all the way through discover that the weapons can indeed be put to a bit of use, as Tony Swatton demonstrates the effectiveness of both cutlass and wristblade on a variety of objects including a watermelon and an energy drink.

What do you think of Tony Swatton’s handiwork?
