Zynga loses one of its co-founders
Zynga, a company that was formed in 2007, lost one of the eight co-founers today as Justin Waldron stated on Facebook that he will once again pursue personal projects.
Waldron stated, “It’s incredibly humbling to have worked with such a talented team. I am grateful to have had the chance to help build a company that touched so many people. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of it- both in the trenches and for playing the games.”
It seems that the past few months just haven’t been good for the company. Fist they were forced to close several studios back in June, and they decided to bring on Don Mattrick, a former Microsoft executive, as the new CEO. This decision did nothing to stop the departures, however, as more Zynga executives left in July and August. And now one of the original eight co-founders have left.
Will Zynga’s luck improve? Or will another co-founder or several end up leaving just like Mr. Waldron did?
