Yesterday, one of the creators of the upcoming PS4 exclusive puzzle game, The Witness, showed off a puzzle at the urging of a few people.
This was shown at a Sony-hosted PlayStation 4 preveiw event, during which our pals at Kotaku talked with Blow about the game and urged him to demonstrate a single puzzle, as well as explain on the puzzle builds upon itself to organically instruct the player in solving increasingly complex challenges. The video above shows that our friends were successful in their urges.
Readers should keep in mind that this is only one of the game’s puzzles, and that they should not expect every puzzle to be similar to what is displayed. There will indeed be puzzles nestled within puzzles, however, which should provide a bit of a unique challenge for those of us who love puzzle games.
So what are your thoughts on The Witness so far, based on all we’ve seen and heard of the game?
