Amazon and GameStop respond to customer concerns regarding Watch Dogs bundle preorders

Retailers respond to Watch Dogs delay.

Retailers respond to Watch Dogs delay.

Though Ubisoft had nothing to say about the Watch Dog preorder bundles when asked, two retailers have stepped up to assure customers. These retailers are none other than GameStop and Amazon.

First up, we’ll cove GameStop’s response. They have sent out an email to all those who pre-ordered the Watch Dogs bundle, stating that they may either receive their console on time and receive the game later or simply swap the bundle out for another one.

Amazon also assures worried customers that those who pre-ordered the Watch Dogs bundle will still receive the system on time, stating on the product page that, “all orders for the Watch Dogs PlayStation 4 bundle will keep their place in line and we will fulfill the PlayStation 4 (without the Watch Dogs game) in accordance with your current delivery estimate.”

So those gamers who have pre-ordered from these two retailers, at least, don’t have to  wait until the new Watch Dogs release date to get their consoles.

What are your thoughts? Will other retailers follow suit?

Thanks, Joystiq.
