Pokemon X, Y sells more than 4 million copies
The global launch of Pokemon X and Y has done well for Nintendo.
The company announced that the game sold more than 4 million units on Oct. 12 and Oct. 13 alone in Japan, Europe and the Americas.
“The early response to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y not only reaffirms the ongoing passion of Pokémon fans, but also indicates that an entirely new generation of gamers is eager to experience the franchise for itself,” said Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.
The games are more than 70 percent ahead of sales by Black 2 and White 2 during the same time.
