More details continue to trickle in for WWE 2K14, despite the fact that the game is coming out on Oct. 29.
2K today revealed that as part of the ’30 Years of WrestleMania’ mode, an extra mode will be included based on the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
Streak Mode will let players either defend the streak, or try to defeat it. If you opt to defend the streak, you’ll get to play as either the current Undertaker or the retro ‘Taker. You can then defend his streak in a non-stop style contest, as well as raise your score by defeating as many wrestlers as possible and then you can upload your results and scores online.
If you choose to defeat the streak, you can select any current or legendary Superstar on the roster and face either the current version of the Undertaker, or his retro version, in a showdown at WM. You’ll then try to defeat the Undertaker, who can pull off special abilities that are only found in this mode, then upload your results and high scores online.
