GTA V heads to PC in 2014 (Rumor)
Many have figured that Rockstar would be releasing the newest entry of their popular Grand Theft Auto series on PC at some point, but the company has stayed silent on the possibility, despite several rumors.
Well, today those rumors increase and, if Eurogamer (via Kotaku) is to be believed, we will indeed be seeing a PC port of Grand Theft Auto V during the first quarter of 2014. The site cites “multiple industry sources” as their proof that the game will indeed come out.
If it is accurate, as Eurogamer states, it appears that Rockstar’s plan would be to mirror the release schedule of the previous entry in the series, Grand Theft Auto IV, which, as many of you may recall, was released on consoles in April of 2008 and was ported to PC eight months later in December.
It should be noted that GTA V arrived in September, so if the plan is to mirror GTA IV’s release schedule, the game won’t be arriving in the first quarter of 2014.
We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
