That’s right, the game that combines trick-or-treating, turn-based role-playing game combat, and Double Fine’s brand of humor arrived on Apple’s app store today.
The game, titled Costume Quest, received decent reviews, and the timing of the iOS release is fantastic. With Halloween right around the corner, after all, would gamers not agree that it is perhaps the best time to release a game of this sort? With people in the mood for Halloween fun, this RPG aims to please.
Our pals at Joystiq, at least, rather enjoyed the original release back in 2010. They gave the game 4 stars, stating that it was “sweeter than the candy the game’s heroes and villains pursue so relentlessly”.
