New Harvest Moon game subtitle to have dual meaning.

Today we’ve learned some things about the upcoming Harvest Moon title, called Bokujo Monogatari: Tsunagari Shintenchi.

For those wondering just what the subtitle means, it translates to something like “Connecting New Lands”. Yoshifumi Hashimoto, the series producer, explained to Famitsu that the subtitle (or at least the “Connecting” part of the subtitle) has a dual meaning. Said Mr. Hashimoto, “One meaning of that lies in the connectivity functions we use. The game supports StreetPass and Wi-Fi; you can trade assorted data with friends and you can also visit each other’s farms. It also refers to connecting with the world, making connections to other countries via trade.”

Are you interested in the first new Harvest Moon game to be released in 2 years? Or will you be passing it by?

Thanks, Polygon.
