Pokémon Bank lets you bring your older creatures into the new games.
Nintendo has announced that on December 27, they will launch a service called the Pokémon Bank. This will be a cloud-based storage system that can hold your Pokémon in a digital world until the servers go down.
This service will have a 30-day free trial (providing you download the application on your 3DS by January 31, 2014), then will cost $4.99 per year in order to maintain your data.
Some of you may be wondering why you would want to purchase this service. Well, there appear to be several benefits. Aside from keeping your old Pokémon safe, you could utilize it to bring your favourite ones from Pokémon Black or White into the upcoming games, which release for Nintendo’s handheld this week.
In addition, you can bring even older Pokémon to the game. The full details of the process can be found here.
