FF X, X-2 HD collection arrives in winter.
That’s right, Final Fantasy fans, the FF X, FF X-2 HD collection has been given a release window.
Though Square Enix’s announcement on the PlayStation Blog (via Polygon) didn’t give us a concrete date, they did state that it would be out this winter. In addition, they revealed that the PlayStation 3 version will contain both titles on one disc (the Vita version will contain seperate discs for each) and will support cross-saving on both platforms.
The games will also feature content from the International versions of the games, which include features that were not available in North America upon their original release.
Finally, those who pre-order the game will be receiving a Limited Edition art book bundle that features the original concept art from early on in the games’ development cycles. The bundle will also feature commentary from both the development team and producer Yoshinori Kitase.
