Famitsu news flash states Xbox One will hit Japan in 2014
Recently, the Japanese site Famitsu put up a news flash, revealing that Microsoft has finally announced that their Xbox One will hit shelves in 2014 in Japan.
This may not seem new, as many recall that the company had previously stated that Xbox One will release in Asia in 2014, but if you recall, the list of countries receiving the console actually did not include Japan at that time.
This news was met with amusement from Japanese gamers, according to Kotaku, with many making such comments as, “That’s sooner than I thought!” and “Wasn’t it supposed to be 2015?”.
What are your thoughts on this matter? Will Microsoft be able to claim more fans in Japan, or will they fail to move more units than their current console, the Xbox 360, has?
