Sony has revealed the PlayStation Vita TV, which will let Vita owners play their games on their TV, in what can easily be described as a direct shot at Apple TV.
The PS Vita TV is a small device that allows for the use of the DualShock3 controller to play Vita games on a TV, while also accepting Vita games to be directly connected to it. Streaming services will also be available on the device and Sony says it can let gamers play their PS4 via Remote Play with the DualShock 4 controller, though this is something that will come later on via update.
According to Sony, the PS Vita TV will allow you to play PSone Classics and PSP games through it as well, while it can also connect directly to the PS4 in order to play PS Vita games through it.
This thing will launch on Nov. 4 in Japan and will cost approximately $95, while a $150 bundle will also be offered that comes with a DualShock3 controller and an 8GB Vita memory card. No details on a release in the U.S. though.
