New details emerge for Pokemon X & Y
During today’s Pokemon Direct, Nintendo confirmed that players will be able to transfer their Pokemon from Black & White, as well as Black & White 2 onto Pokemon X & Y.
Nintendo has announced a host of new details about Pokemon X & Y, including the fact that you’ll be able to transfer your monsters from Black & White and Black & White 2 into the upcoming game.
There will be a feature called Poke Transporter that will let gamers upload their Pokemon to a personal Pokemon Bank, as if they were currency (poor Pokemon), and from there, you can download the ones you want to use. The Pokemon Bank requires the download of an app however, that will have an annual fee.
In other news, the three starter Pokemon, Froakie, Chespin and Fennekin won’t be the only ones available when you start the game, as Charmander, Bulbasaur and my personal favorite, Squirtle, will also be usable. All three of the old school Pokemon will now have a Mega Evolution that can be unlocked: Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard and Mega Blastoise.
Pokemon X & Y is due out on the Nintendo 3DS onOctober 12.
