A previous TGS event.
Fans of the company may be pleased to know that Square Enix has launched its official website for this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
For those unaware, TGS runs from September 19 to September 22, and focuses more on Japanese titles, although some international game companies also utilize it to show off their games and hardware. Like Gamescom, it allows the general public to attend the event during the final two days.
Square Enix’s lineup for this year’s TGS is sure to draw attention. In addition to Dragon Quest X Online, they will be showing off Call of Duty: Ghosts, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (this will be playable for those who attend), Bravely Default: For the Sequel, Drakengard 3, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (playable), Thief, Diablo III, Deadman’s Cross, Dragon Quest: Monster Parade, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm (playable), Malpharia March, and Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.
Though neither Final Fantasy XV nor Kingdom Hearts III appear on the website, Gematsu informs us that they were confirmed to be at the show thanks to an earlier CESA press release.
Will Square’s TGS show ignite more interest for their upcoming (and currently available, such as FF XIV: A Realm Reborn) titles?
