- Boll pitches POSTAL 2.
Yes, you read that correctly. Uwe Boll has gone to Kickstarter in order to attempt to raise money for the upcoming movie, POSTAL 2.
The Kickstarter opens up with jokes, then gets (a bit) serious. The serious portion describes the project as “a controversial comedy in which we take up current political issues. We take the biggest scandals of our democracy, like the happenings about Julien Assange and Edward Snowdon and show that there is no difference between our democracy and the prison camps in Russia or China. We show that through this massive monitoring our communication data is not safe anymore! We want to make a movie which is totally uncensored, pointed against everything and everybody, against every political party and every religion. There will be no survivors.”
The movie, regardless of whether it is actually made or not, is sure to get quite a bit of coverage, simply for aiming to be so controversial. But will the Kickstarter succeed?
What do you think? Will you be contributing money to this project?
