2DS specs revealed.
Nintendo recently revealed the 2DS’s specifications, which we will compare with the specs of the 3DS consoles.
The first thing to note would be the screen. The 2DS’s screen takes up the same amount of space on the console as the screens did on the original 3DS.
The next thing we’ll look at is the power adapter, power saving mode, and battery life. As many are well aware, the 3DS and 3DS XL supported a power save mode, which can be quite useful if you are on the go. The upcoming 2DS, however, does not. It does, however, have a power adapter which contains a dedicated switch for a sleep mode. The upcoming handheld’s batter life is also longer, lasting 3.5 to 5.5 hours for 3DS games (the 3DS lasted 3-5 and the 3DS XL lasted 3.5-6.5).
Finally, we’ll look at the speakers. To the possible dismay of many, Nintendo has decided to include mono speakers.
People have had somewhat mixed reactions to Nintendo’s upcoming handheld, and these specs are sure to keep the reactions mixed. That said, what are your opinions so far?
