PC version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist suffering many issues.

It was reported that the newest game in the Splinter Cell series, Blacklist, is suffering some rather annoying issues on PC.

These issues include, among other things, the “pre-load” button not being replaced with a “play” button in Steam in several territories outside of the UK, US, Canada, and Australia, thus rendering the game completely unplayable.

The uPlay version of the game is also proving problematic, suffering crashes and launch failures in the game. It should be noted (for those of you who are considering purchasing this version) that users seem to be experience more issues when they allow the game to auto-patch. If you manually download the patch, you will, by reports, experience fewer issues.

Will Ubisoft be able to fix these issues? Or will their current lack of support (via their forums) cause many to forego the game entirely?
