Notch reveals new zombie FPS game.

Minecraft creator Notch has released a new game for free called Shambles.

This game, which he created for the 7DFPS challenge this year, is a first-person shooter. Created with Unity, the game drops you into a zombie apocalypse with only 50 bullets for your gun and 100 HP to your name.

There aren’t just zombies to kill in the new game, however. There will also be soldiers and civilians populating the streets. The soldiers, once killed, will drop more ammo, always a requirement for surviving a zombie apocalypse. The civilians, once killed, drop health.

Because this was made for the challenge, you shouldn’t go in expecting to enjoy it for 20+ hours. It is a good way to pass time, however. If this sounds like something you’re interested in, you can play it in your browser or download the game.

Will you be able to survive (or at least get a high score)?
