Back at E3 2013 Bioware has showed fans a new trailer of Dragon Age 3, known as Inquisition, and also gave them a pretty bad news: the game will be detailed until autumn 2014.
But they never told us any information about why the game is detailed, no more than the usual “it’s not done”. Well, today they came with a clarification on the situation, explaining to everybody that due to the fact that the games is delayed they will be able to implement multiple playable races.
Series creative director Mike Laidlaw said that the reinstating of races was “100 per cent based on fan feedback”. “We wanted to make sure it was locked down; we wanted to make sure our homework was done so we could commit to it and people could, with absolute enthusiasm, get ready for elf or dwarf or whatever.”
Considering his statement, the delay of Dragon Age Inquisition is more than justified, as the developer will have much more time to create the game and offer fans a product they deserve for the $60 price tag.
