Battlefield 4 stats will carry over from current-gen to next-gen consoles

DICE and EA have today announced that with both current and next-gen versions of Battlefield 4 on the way, players who pick up an Xbox 360 or PS3 version of the game, will be able to transfer their stats over to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

This is great news for anyone who wants to pick up the game on current-gen consoles and don’t want to wait a few weeks more for the next-gen versions, since the current-gen versions launch on Oc.t 29.

As part of the announcement, EA also unveiled that Premium membership will return for Battlefield 4.  A Premium membership includes access to expansion packs, personalization options and other weekly content.  Any stats, unlocks or rank increases will also transfer from the Xbox 360/PS3 to the Xbox One/PS4.

The PS4 and Xbox One (as well as PC) versions of the game will support up to 64-players online.
