Square-Enix improves Q1 losses
Square-Enix has released the first quarter results for fiscal 2014, and the loss is a bit less than FY 2013.
The company posted net sales of $245.3 million, down from $253.7 million last year. However, the net loss recorded was $5 million, an improvement of last year’s $21.1 million loss.
During the report, the publisher cited “weak” console game sales with no major console game releases, although Wii MMO Dragon Quest X “has been showing steady performance” in Japan.
