Infinity Ward producer teases “Squads” for Call of Duty: Ghosts
Today, executive producer Mark Rubin teased a feature called “Squads” in the upcoming shooter, Call of Duty: Ghosts.
This tweet, apparently posted from Mr. Rubin’s new phone, showcases a brief clip of the upcoming game. The clip briefly shows the “online play” and “options” menu, along with a third that appears to be blurred out for some reason. Then, just before the clip ends, the word “Squads” makes an appearance at the top of the screen.
This clip, though no official explanation has been given for it, comes shortly after Candice Capen tweeted to a fan that the game would have “a co-op mode of a sort”. Just what this co-op mode is, we’ll see on August 14, when Activision unveils the game’s multiplayer component.
Could “Squads” be this multiplayer component or something else entirely?
