Sega reportedly bidding on Atlus parent company
Bidding is ongoing for Atlus parent company Index, and Sega looks to be part of it.
Siliconera translated a Japanese Bloomberg report that has Sega as one of 20 companies looking at Index. The bidding is reportedly up to 20 billion yen, or $203.3 million. It may be sold as early as the end of August.
Index filed for “civil rehabilitation” in late June, which is a form of bankruptcy in Japan.
