Early adopters of the Ouya that have been disappointed are being given store credit to try and ease the hurt.
Polygon reports that emails sent out to Kickstarter backers and early pre-orderers by CEO Julie Uhrman said that the company apologizes for “any kind of less-than-Ouya experience.”
In addition to the apology, anyone that follows the link in the email can get a code for $13.37 in store credit to be used in the Discover store.
“It wasn’t OK that some of you — our most loyal supporters — didn’t get your Ouya until after it was on store shelves,” Uhrman wrote. “Others had an issue with our still-new customer service. Despite your frustrations, you’ve played on, putting up with our bumps and bugs as we work to get better every day.
