Ace Combat Infinity confirmed as a PlayStation 3 exclusive

Ace Combat Infinity to be free to play.
Namco Bandai has just confirmed the release of a new modern-combat airplane simulator, Ace Combat Infinity, as a free-to-play and PlayStation 3 exclusive game.

“The Ace Combat franchise has evolved dramatically over the years, but never before have we been able to offer its amazing graphics and tactical action for free,” Namco Bandai Europe’s senior vice president Olivier Comte said.

“The team at Project Aces listens very carefully to its players, and is bringing the best the series has to offer to Ace Combat Infinity, with plenty of new surprises too.”

We don’t have any further details about the game, but it’s nice to see that developers are still making games for current-gen consoles and they aren’t only focusing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Ace Combat Infinity will be available later this year.
