Tecmo Koei’s profits are up

Fans of the company should be happy to know that Tecmo Koei has reported a positive gain for the first quarter of this fiscal year.

To go into details, the company had 6.5 billion yen in sales, which is a 10.9% increase from the previous fiscal year. When all is said and done, Tecmo Koei reported a net profit of 938 million yen, which amounts to around $9.6 million USD.

In addition to how well their newest game, Toukiden (a hunting game with Japanese mythological creatures), sold, the company also did well with Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky as well as Winning Post 7 2013.

The y also went on to report that they have surpassed 24 million registered users for their online and social games, including Dynasty Warriors and AK848’s Ambition.
