Sony to showcase 40+ games over 3 days at E3.

If you thought that blu-ray discs will be always on top of the market when it comes to storage space, you were terribly wrong. As a result of a partnership made between Sony and Panasonic, a new successor for blu-ray has arisen.

The disc will be capable to store 300GB, and it’s developed with an eye on the new 4K Ultra High Resolution that just has been introduced to some new TVs.

They plan to release the new disc by 2015, despite the fact that retail market is in decline. Both companies seem to be confident about the success of the new storage solution.
