Microsoft “looking into” bundling Xbox One with headset
It’s been known for quite some time that Microsoft’s Xbox One won’t include a headset out of the box unlike its predecessor.
While Microsoft has often cited the next-gen version of Kinect as one of the biggest reasons for the change, those hoping that they eventually include one just got a glimmer of hope.
Over on Twitter, product planning manager Albert Penello has said they’re “looking into it” as a reply to a fan question asking about the headset’s inclusion.
@bad_ass_females We’ve heard the feedback. Looking into it.

Keep in mind that this is not direct confirmation that a headset will eventually be included. But at the very least, it’s nice to know Microsoft is “looking into it” nonetheless.
The Xbox One’s headset is currently priced at $25 and will be available at launch.
