Eternal Darkness gets new trademark

A new trademark has been filed by Nintendo for Eternal Darkness.

The refiling, reported by Siliconera, is almost identical to the 2010 renewal except for additional language covering “downloadable electronic game programs; downloadable electronic game software.”

This could just be a simple refiling. However, this could also mean that Nintendo is considering a digital release for the title, similar to what Microsoft is doing with Killer Instinct after refiling that trademark.

Would love to see this game as a downloadable title either for the Wii U (with an HD update) or even for the 3DS. This game would look sick in 3D.
