DICE and EA looking into stat and progression transfer from current to next-gen

DICE and EA are looking into stat transfer between generations.

DICE and EA are looking into stat transfer between generations.

Though DICE had said yesterday that Battlefield 4 wouldn’t support multiplayer progression between console generations, they also stated that they were looking into transferring stats and progression between generations.

This may come as a bit of a surprise, considering the earlier announcement, but it would be a welcome one if they do indeed implement it. A few commentors stated that it would only be fair for them to implement this feature as one would have to buy the game twice anyway in order to take advantage of it.

Said DICE:

We’ve heard reports that players would like their stats and progression to transfer from current to next-gen in #BF4. We’re investigating.

Will they really implemetn this feature? And are the commentors stating, “It’d only be fair for them to,” correct, or do you believe it’s just an unjustified sense of entitlement guiding the words?
