The Last of Us holds on to UK top spot for a sixth week.

The Last of Us

The Last of Us has managed to stay at the top of the UK gaming charts for a sixth straight week.

The game has now matched records set by both FIFA 12 and Black Ops 2 by maintaining the top spot, though it should be noted that they were both multiformat with The Last of Us being a PS3 exclusive. The highest new entry was for Dynasty Warriors 8 which came in at number 5, becoming the 4th best launch for a Dynasty Warriors game.

ChartTrack’s all format top ten was for the week ending July 20th and shows a 22% drop in sales for The Last of Us, showing just how popular it has been. Max Payne 3 also makes it back into the top ten after receiving a huge boost from retail promotions, with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition also managing to make it back into the chart.
