Viacom forced to pay out $299 Million to former Harmonix share holders

by on July 18, 2013

Harmonix dragged Viacom to court over three year ago due to the fact that Viacom violated the terms of a contract between the two companies back in 2006, and sidestepped paying out houndreds of millions in bonuses to stockholder.

Today, the Delaware supreme court decided that Viacom is to blame for this and forced Viacom to pay out around $299 million to former Harmonix share holder.

We’re glad to see that justice has been served and the money will go in the right pockets.
