Ubisoft won’t be holding a conference at Gamescom, will have playable games on the show floor
Ubisoft have confirmed that they will not be holding their usual conference at Gamescom, according to MCV.
The French company will instead be focusing their efforts on their playable games at the show as an exhibitor. Although they haven’t confirmed which games will be shown, it’s a safe bet to assume that the big cross generation games such as Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be there.
Earlier this month Capcom announced that they wouldn’t be attending the show either. With TGS coming up in September it looks like their efforts are focused on showing Deep Down, plus any other next gen games they have in production, then.
This years Gamescom will be held from August 21st-25th in Cologne.
