Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut heads to PC
Rising Star Games have announced that Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is getting a PC release.
Though no official date has been set as of yet, with the publisher merely stating that it will arrive “in the near future”, you can make your opinion known by voting for or against it on Steam Greenlight.
The game places you in the role of FBI special agent Francis York Morgan. You arrive at the town of Greenvale in order to investigate the murder of a young woman named Anna Graham. You had your own reasons for taking on this case, though, namely the red seeds that were found around the body. This is similar to a series of murders that have been occurring across the country, which you want to solve.
You arrive in the town and are greeted by the sheriff, George Woodman and his deputy, Emily Wyatt. You develop an attraction to the deputy, however you do not get on well with the townspeople, due in large part to your dismissive attitude. Your bizarre demeanor and tendency to interrupt conversations to speak to an unseen person you call Zach.
Will you be able to solve the case? And who, exactly, is this Zach?
