With the deadline for early registration for GDC Europe 2013 coming tomorrow, more talks have been announced for the conference.

Nintendo have announced 2 talks, one about the use of JavaScript on the console and the other being on Unity. Whilst these may seem like dry topics to many casual consumers, for developers it’s an invaluable chance to learn about Nintendo’s approach to the Wii U. The JavaScript talk will focus on, “a new way of rapidly developing Wii U applications that takes full advantage of unique Wii U features while reducing development times significantly,” according to an announcement from the organisers.

With Bethesda yesterday announcing that they are following in EA’s footsteps in not currently developing games for the Wii U, it’s crucial that Nintendo manage to get their message across to developers in the way that Sony and Microsoft made theirs clear at E3.

Other talks will include IO describing the way they created believable AI in Hitman Absolution and talks from the likes of Crytek, Microsoft and Ubisoft, The event will run from August 19th-21st, just before the Gamescom event.
