Bethesda is not currently developin anything for the Wii U. In an interview with MCV Peter Hines, Bethesda’s marketing vice president, said that the company is not investing time in to the Wii U for numerous factors. As to what those factors are Hines neglected to mention.
Not too keen about an online multiplayer Elder Scrolls experience? Bethesda says that their up and coming MMO, Elder Scrolls Online, will accommodate both single players and groups of players. In general there will be areas that can be tackled by a single person while other areas may require more people. However Bethesda mentioned that most areas will be accessible by anyone. Also notable is that each dungeon will have a wayshrine so that you won’t be forced to leave your party if you die.
An oldie but goodie will be given to XBOX Live Gold subscribers. Gold members will be able to download Assassin’s Creed 2 for free during the rest of July. Other than that multiple games are on sale on XBLA. Check out the link below for more information.
Finally in Xbox One news the console will let gamers play the game while it is downloading. Sony’s PS4 has this functionality after a certain percentage of the game has been downloaded. As for Microsoft’s next gen console, it has been said that players will be able to start the game immediately as it downloads.
